We are a 501©(3) Christian non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring hope by providing free life changing skills and educational programs to impoverished youths and exploited women. They are trained to be a part of their community development program, that will ultimately help them become productive adults. We pay particular attention to the advancement of equal rights for girls’ education for self-sustenance. Our current focus is in Rwanda.
Every year students are enrolled into our core programs – Culinary Arts and Fashion Design, and short-term training programs such as Hospitality, Business Management & Entrepreneurship, Knitting and Accessory Designs. These programs range from 6 to 15 months which includes an internship and a certificate at graduation.
Our vision and efforts are in line with Rwanda’s Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy. To accomplish this, we work in partnership with various international, national and local organizations/institutions including U.S Embassy State Department, The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), USAID Huguka Dukore Akazi Kanoze, Ministry Incharge of Emergency Management (MINEMA), etc.
We are building a Multipurpose Campus in Kigali, the “Village of Peace” that will house all existing education & training activities. We are registered in the state of New York and depend entirely on tax deductible contributions from individuals, foundations and corporations.
